Groovecar is a free automotive buying service that is provided by many credit unions in the area.
I am a credit union member and I was thinking of finding a car, what should I do?
You may put in a request through our website groovecar.com and a representative will call you to explain the program.
Can I sign up with your company and go to any one of your dealers on this list?
You may go to as many dealers on our list that you may like. In order to use our program, you must be registered to each individual dealer before going or contacting them.
I am looking for a car, how do I get my discount card?
You will receive your discount card approximately 2-4 weeks after you take delivery of your vehicle. This cannot be given out before delivery is made.
How much money am I going to get off the cost of the car by using your service?
It depends on what vehicle you are looking for. Most vehicles in the market carry discounted pricing close to the dealer’s cost. However, there are some vehicles whether you use our service or not, that will carry little or no discount at all.
How do I know that I am getting the best price? Or a good price?
You can contact us to go over your pricing with you.
I am financing through GrooveCar, How do I know what I will get approved at?
Since your interest rate depends on several factors, you will not know what the exact percentage is until you apply.
Do I need to put money down?
It will depend on what monthly payment you are looking for and what your credit situation is. For example, if you are looking for a $400 monthly payment and the car comes to $360 a month, you will not have to put money down. However if you are looking for a $400 monthly payment and car comes to $500, you will need to put down $5000 to get to $400 a month. As far as your credit is concerned, you may have reached the monthly payment you want, but the bank may require you to put money down for financial reasons.

If you have already been to a Groovecar dealer and received pricing, there is nothing we can do to change what you have already received. This is because, most likely you have dealt with a salesperson whose commission must come out of your car deal. You can always return to the dealer, but our program would not work at that point. If you would like to visit a dealer you have not visited or contacted yet, you may put in a request on our website www.groovecar.com.
