Dodge adds many improvements to the interior of the 2008 Dodge Charger to enhance driver and passenger comfort. These changes include new soft-touch surfaces on the armrests, center console and door trim and a newly designed instrument panel and instrument cluster. Satin chrome bezels and instrument panel accents provide additional interest to the sophisticated, functional Charger interior.

The center console of the 2008 Dodge Charger also has been redesigned and now features satin chrome accents and optional Light-Emitting Diode (LED) lighting in the front cupholders. LED lighting also is available in the front and rear door-map pockets.

The 2008 Dodge Charger offers a host of automotive safety, entertainment and communication features. These include optional Xenon High Intensity Discharge headlamps, seat-mounted and side-curtain airbags, UConnect Bluetooth Hands-free Communication System, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, rear-seat Video Entertainment System with SIRIUS Backseat TV and MyGIG, a completely integrated audio, entertainment and hands-free communications system with available navigation.

The 340-horsepower, 5.7-liter HEMI-powered V8 2008 Dodge Charger R/T offers a new "Fuel Saver Mode" display, included as part of the Electronic Vehicle Information Center, that tells drivers when they are in four-cylinder mode, allowing them to modify their driving habits for improved fuel efficiency.
