For the 2013 model year, Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit models have new standard features that raise the bar further in luxury. These include standard Front Park Assist, power folding outside mirrors and headlight washers. The highly regarded Overland Summit interior is now available with black or saddle colored Nappa leather seating with Saddle accent stitching. A Saddle leather interior is also available. For the 2013, Jeep announces the new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk available with a V-6 or V-8 engine.
The combination of Grand Cherokee's Quadra-Lift air suspension system and the Jeep Selec-Terrain traction control system lets customers choose the 4x4 setting for the optimum experience on all terrains. The 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers three 4x4 systems (Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II).
The 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee features the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine. It delivers 290 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,800 rpm. Jeep Grand Cherokee offers trailer-tow capability of up to 5,000 pounds on models equipped with the Pentastar V-6 engine.
The available legendary 5.7-liter V-8 engine with fuel-saver technology delivers 360 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,250 rpm. The fuel-saver technology seamlessly alternates between smooth high-fuel-economy four-cylinder mode when less power is needed and V-8 mode when more power from the 5.7-liter engine is requested. Best-in-class trailer-tow capability of up to 7,400 pounds is available with the 5.7-liter V-8 engine.
