Comfort and sophistication meet the road in the full-size Ford Taurus sedan for 2018. All model features carry over, including the standard rearview camera.
Ford Taurus delivers more of what buyers of large sedans really want -- technology, design refinement, craftsmanship and great driving dynamics.
The 2018 Ford Taurus features plenty of driver-assist technology including available lane-keeping warning and lane-keeping aid; Curve Control, which automatically slows the car if it enters a curve too fast; torque vectoring control; and adaptive cruise control.
The Taurus features a standard 3.5-liter V6 and available 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. The Taurus SHO comes standard with 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. All models use a six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift. Paddle shifters come standard with Taurus SHO. All-wheel drive is standard for Taurus SHO, and available on SEL and Limited series trim levels.
The 2.0-liter EcoBoost produces 240 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. The 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 -- standard equipment in the high-performance Taurus SHO -- is Ford's most powerful EcoBoost offering, delivering 365 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque.
The 2018 Taurus includes SYNC enhanced voice recognition and entertainment system with available SYNC 3 featuring an LCD touch screen with swiping and pinch-to-zoom capabilities, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, AppLink and 911 Assist.
Among some of the standard features on the 2018 Taurus: 12-volt powerpoints (three), AM/FM stereo/single-CD player, and SiriusXM Radio with six-month trial subscription (SEL, Limited, SHO).
