The 2020 Sierra offers premium, segment-leading features with the addition of the 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel engine and the expansion of its carbon fiber bed and 10-speed automatic transmission. Sierra 2020 is the first full model year availability of the CarbonPro Edition with the carbon fiber bed, available on AT4 and Denali.

Other available tech additions include an upgraded ProGrade Trailering System that features a segment-leading 15 total available camera views, including a segment-first transparent trailer view (accessory equipment required). Adaptive Cruise Control Camera is also added for 2020. The system features a single high-mounted camera behind the rearview mirror and can bring the Sierra to a complete stop.

The Sierra lineup continues with the Elevation, which makes a statement in design, capability and advanced connectivity. Elevation sets itself apart with distinct monochromatic door handles, bumpers and grille surround. The commanding design is amplified by black exterior accents, including the grille insert, tow hooks, side window trim and standard 20-inch aluminum wheels.

The Sierra Elevation is based off the double cab model and is offered with 2WD or 4WD configurations. The double cab has nearly 3 inches of additional rear-seat legroom compared to the current model and best-in-class double cab front head- and legroom.

Standard on the Sierra Elevation is the 2.7-liter turbocharged engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque.

The 5.3-liter V-8 is also available in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This improved version of the 5.3-liter V-8 utilizes a new Dynamic Fuel Management system that enables the engine to operate on one to eight cylinders, depending on demand, to optimize power and efficiency.
